Thanks to dedicated community members like you, Fairbanks History Day continues to thrive in its 25th year. Your expertise remains a critical component behind the success of our local effort.
We continue to see a strong and diverse pool of submissions each year. With the return of an in-person competition, we expect a very good turnout this year.
This year’s theme is "Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas".
It is strongly recommended that you take a moment to review the narrative of this year's theme and various YouTube webinars located to the right of this screen.
You will receive your judging assignments by email no later than February 20th. Included will be scoring sheets and web links to your judging assignments.
All judges scoring sheets are due back no later than 7pm, Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023.

The UAF Department of History wishes to extend its appreciation for your continued support. A list of all award winners and links to their projects will be posted to this website on Friday, February 24th for you to enjoy.
