Remember that this is the only way the judges can get to know your entry! Please make sure you’ve captured all aspects of the exhibit and that the photos are clear and in focus.
The process paper and bibliography should be included as well in
PDF format. Please indicate at least one student name, school, and division in the file names.
A Process Paper is required with each submission.
*Teachers must register before students may submit their projects.
FEBRUARY 8 - Registration closes. No late entries will be accepted.
FEBRUARY 15 - Contest begins.
FEBRUARY 15 - Virtual Judges Training 6:00 to 6:30pm.
FEBRUARY 18 - Judging Ends at 5:00pm.
FEBRUARY 19 - Fairbanks History Day Award Winners Announced Online at Noon.
The projects of the top 3 award winners in each category and division will be posted online on February 19, 2021. These award winners are eligible to compete at the Alaska State History Day competition. Top finishers in the state competition will advance on to the National History Day Competition in June of 2020.
